Concrete pump hire in Sydney starts from $220 per hour plus GST for a 33m boom pump, $230/hr for a 40m and $250/hr for a 48m boom pump. An additional charge of $8 per cubic metre plus GST also applies. Most jobs carry a minimum 4-hour booking and one hour of travel time. A boom pump is truck-mounted with a long mechanical arm that places concrete exactly where you need it -- ideal for elevated pours, multi-storey builds, slabs with tricky access and large commercial projects. A line pump uses flexible hoses to pump concrete along the ground and works well for smaller residential slabs, footpaths, block fill and tight spaces where a truck cannot get close. Not sure which one suits your job? Call us and we'll tell you straight away.
BK Pumping provides concrete pump hire across all of Sydney including Revesby, Bankstown, Campsie, Padstow, Panania, Milperra, Punchbowl, Lakemba, Condell Park, Bass Hill, Greenacre, Parramatta, Liverpool, Penrith and surrounding suburbs. Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call.
Yes. All boom pump hire bookings carry a minimum charge of 4 hours plus one hour of travel time. This applies to all pump sizes. For smaller jobs, call us to discuss options -- we'll find the most cost-effective solution for your pour.
In most cases, yes -- especially if the truck cannot chute directly into your formwork. A pump gets concrete exactly where it needs to go quickly and cleanly, reducing labour time and the risk of a bad pour. For most Sydney residential slabs, a boom pump is the fastest and most efficient option.
Pour time depends on the volume of concrete, site access and the pump size. A standard residential slab can typically be pumped in 2 to 4 hours. Larger commercial pours may take a full day. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when you call for a quote so your crew and concrete trucks can be scheduled properly.
